Regional Marriage Coalitions in Ohio
The following marriage-related coalitions have been formed around the state of Ohio.
We have tried to include a short description and provide contact info for each one.

1.  Columbus Marriage Coalition, Strengthening Families and Communities in Central

4.  Marriage Works Ohio, promotes healthy marriages throughout Medina, Stark and Wayne Counties.

5.  Marriage Collaborative of NW Ohio (not incorporated yet)
Ed and Shirley Briggeman are gathering together agencies and individuals to form a
collaborative to strengthen marriages in NW Ohio and reduce the rate of marriage
terminations. Abstinence education is strong in the 6 closest counties, so building
relationships toward marriage education is the next step! Ed and Shirley have been
married 39 years, have 4 adult children and 10 grandchildren.
Contact them for help with marriage inventories and marriage mentor training in Northwest
Ohio (particularly Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding & Putnam Counties).
They are forming a larger collaborative to facilitate a stronger mission and gain funding.

6.  Southeast Appalachian Ohio Healthy Marriage Coalition (No website at this time).
Crossroads Counseling Center is developing a Southeast Appalachian Ohio Healthy Marriage
Coalition and is seeking faith-based and community partners in Athens, Meigs, and Vinton County.
Inquiries from any of the other Appalachian Counties of Southeast Ohio are also welcome!
Crossroads Counseling Center provides professional psychotherapy and pastoral counseling
services and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Albany, Ohio.

7.  Toledo Extraordinary Marriage Project, Contact Kevin Anderson, 419-861-2269,
