Quaker Hill Solitude Room

The Quaker Hill Conference Center, in Richmond, Indiana, http://www.qhcc.org/
has a "Solitude Room" set aside as a personal retreat facility.  It has a double bed,
couch, table and chair, microwave oven, and a refrigerator.  It has a private restroom.
It is available for use by individuals or couples.

The Quaker Hill Foundation Board has determined that the Solitude Room will be
available for use free of charge.  Contributions in support of maintenance and
upkeep of the Solitude Room are welcome, but there is no obligation.  You may
reserve the use of this facility by calling the Conference Center office during
office hours 9:00am-4:00pm (Central Time), Monday through Friday.  Phone
765-962-5741.

PERSONAL NOTE:  Carol and I have used the Solitude Room during a couple
of stressful times in our lives.  With no telephone or television in the room, it is
a refreshing change of pace from the hustle and bustle of our daily routines.
When we mentor troubled married couples, we recommend they use the room
for a get-away weekend.
